Takumi Minamino is expected to be Liverpool’s only signing in the January transfer window, according to the Times‘ Paul Joyce.
The attacking midfielder has arrived from Salzburg and could make his debut in Sunday’s FA Cup third round clash at home to Everton.
Minamino’s arrival has got Liverpool fans dreaming of more incomings this month, but it appears unlikely.
Joyce, who is widely seen as the most reliable source of Reds-related news, says the Japanese is ‘likely’ to be the only new face at Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp content with the squad at his disposal.

The only area that could arguably do with more depth is left-back, with Andy Robertson the only recognised senior player in that position.
James Milner can fill in if required, though, while Joe Gomez played at left-back early on in his Liverpool career.
