Mason Mount is expected to be fit for Chelsea’s clash with Liverpool this weekend, in what will be his greatest test yet as a Premier League player.
The Reds make the trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, hoping to make it six wins out of six in the Premier League.
Mount was a doubt for game after hobbling off against Valencia on Tuesday night, but the Mirror report that he should be in contention to start.
The midfielder is being “treated intensively” and is “determined” to face the league leaders.

Mount has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, showcasing his finishing ability with three goals in seven appearances.
His quality in the final third will be something Liverpool must be wary of on Sunday, with Fabinho once again a key figure in terms of snuffing out danger.
The Reds are on another level to anyone else Chelsea have faced yet this season, however, so this will be a real test of just how good Mount is.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are one of Europe’s most formidable teams and they have the ability to swallow up the best players.
