Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne will miss his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool, according to a report on Gianlucadimarzio.
The Reds take on the Serie A side at Anfield on Wednesday evening in a crucial group stage encounter. Liverpool are currently top of the group with nine points, whilst Napoli are on eight.
Insigne is set to be left in Naples after suffering an elbow injury during the 1-1 draw with AC Milan on Saturday.
He’s still in some discomfort and despite participating in training, reports claim he will not be risked for the trip to Merseyside.
