Liverpool striker Divock Origi is set to sign for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg on a season-long loan, according to The Guardian.

The report claims that Origi is bound for Germany as he looks set to complete a move to Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga tomorrow.

Wolfsburg are ready to pay a hefty £6m loan fee to complete the deal, as well as foot his wages for the season.

Origi is set to leave Liverpool, with his first-team chances for the season appearing limited. He is behind Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Dom Solanke in the pecking order.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently completing a medical ahead of his move from Arsenal to Liverpool. The midfielder is expected to be announced a Liverpool player tomorrow morning.

This deal has not stopped the club from pursuing AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, who Liverpool are still actively looking to sign before the deadline.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to join Liverpool in a £40m deal, which would have been a club-record deal before the signing of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig.
