Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says he is ready to wait for his opportunity for the Merseyside club as he continues to learn the style of play desired by manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to the Telegraph.
The Englishman scored his first goal for the Reds in their UEFA Champions League group stage thrashing of Maribor by seven goals.
Chamberlain has made a slow start to life as a Liverpool player after joining the club for £35m from Premier League rivals Arsenal.

He has found it difficult to fight for a starting spot but has ensured that he is ready to remain patient and that when his chance comes, he will take it with both hands.
It’s a competitive team that I’ve come in to. We’re in an important part of the season where we want to get off to a good start and we’ve got a few results that haven’t gone our way.
Everyone’s fighting for their place and I’m just ready for when I get the opportunity. I need to keep developing and learning a new style of play here and get used to that and then whenever I get my opportunities, try to do as well as I can.
The 24-year-old is not going to rush his Liverpool career and Klopp believes that he will get to his best very soon.
