James Pearce has revealed that Adam Lallana will leave Liverpool in the summer.
Speaking during a Q&A for The Athletic [12:26pm], Pearce confirmed that the 31-year-old is entering his final months at Anfield.
Lallana will leave at the end of the season.
The Englishman has been forced to watch on from the sidelines this season and in truth, has been expected to move on in the near future.
The imminent signing of Takumi Minamino will push Lallana further down the pecking order at Anfield, meaning a move away in the summer makes sense for the player.

Lallana will leave Anfield in the summer on something of a sour note. While he has been a very valuable member of the squad, fans will always wonder what could’ve been.
To see how his Reds career has tailed off quite drastically after continued injury problems is a real shame, but this is a ruthless decision that the club need to make.

Minamino is a quality, younger replacement for the former Southampton man, who has been limited to just two Premier League starts and another five appearances off the bench this season.
If Liverpool do go on to win the Premier League title this season, Lallana would’ve certainly played his part, scoring a crucial equaliser agianst Man United at Old Trafford back in October.
