In one of the more thrilling draws recently, Tottenham took Liverpool to the hilt at Anfield and each had a point to show for their efforts.
Neither side particularly deserved the win, but not in the “Boring, no shots on goal” kind of way. We had a great record against Spurs going into the match, and despite what I believe to be a stunning goal from Harry Kane, we leave the game with that record in tact.
The final 45 against Southampton took a lot of the wind from out of our sails, and with a vital tie against Borrusia Dortmund coming up in the week we need as much as we can get. Three points would have sent us flying, but one from a team challenging for the title? Could be worse.
But who impressed the most? Should Jon Flanagan have started? Did Emre Can boss it again? Play along at home and see what ratings you get the same as mine on a 1-10 scale.
