Right then. Not sure what all the fuss was about.

We had about 5789 shots, scored a few, made some Bluenoses in the away end cry and probably should’ve had a dozen.

The only bad news is that Big Divvy took a nasty one from Funes Mori, who some Evertonians, extraordinarily, think that wasn’t a red card. I mean, I know we’re all naturally biased, but that’s literally not even up for debate.

Another thing that isn’t up for debate is that Jurgen Klopp has turned this Liverpool team around over the past six weeks. We fancy ourselves to beat anyone now, and with the quality that the Reds showed tonight, and the options there are off the bench, there’s no wonder.

We’re in for an exciting end to the season. Who knows where Liverpool will finish in the league – the teams above them also won tonight – but Villarreal will not be excited to come up against this buoyant set of Tricky Reds.

Don’t take these ratings too seriously. It’s more fun that way.

matchday.
