Whether or not this season can be judged as a success for Liverpool is up for debate.
A mixed bag of results ended their title challenge but they have solidified their place in the top six and Champions League football is still very much a possibility.
It’s still very early days, of course, but I’ve taken a look at a possible starting XI for Liverpool in the 2017/18 season.
Some of these names may be a stretch but you never know what might happen in the transfer window!
