Predicted Liverpool XI v Tottenham

On Saturday, Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool host second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, who sit five points behind league leaders Leicester City.

Klopp’s first match in charge for the Reds came mid-October against Tottenham away. The match ended 0-0.

Over four months later, he will have another shot to take down Spurs with bigger implications. A Reds win would be huge for Leicester who would open up an eight-point gap at the top if they can defeat Southampton on Sunday.

It has been confirmed that Liverpool will be without Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke on Saturday through injury.

Benteke may not have started this match, but most will feel Firmino most likely would have started had he been fit.

Nonetheless, Klopp will be able to field a pretty decent side against Tottenham. The Reds can make up some ground in the next few weeks since they have a match or two in hand against every club except Everton.

Here’s my predicted starting XI for Saturday:
