Son Heung-min and Harry Kane are better than Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino currently, according to talkSPORT pundit Jason Cundy.
The Tottenham duo have started the season on fire, helping Jose Mourinho’s side look like potential early Premier League title contenders.
The pair combined for the only goal of the game at Burnley on Monday, with Kane teeing up Son to head home the winner in the second half.
It means that Son is currently the top scorer in the league this season, while Kane surprisingly leads the way with assists.
Speaking on Monday night, Cundy claimed that he would take the in-form Spurs duo over Salah and Firmino, both of whom have arguably been part of Europe’s deadliest attack for the last few seasons:

This is typical knee-jerk punditry, with Cundy basing his opinion on a short spell of matches.
There is no denying that Son and Kane are in magnificent form, but they should be judged over a much longer period before such big claims are made.
Salah has been superb for Liverpool so far this season, scoring six times in as many league appearances, not to mention an overall record of 100 in 161 matches for the Reds.
As a comparison, Son has scored 95 times in 238 games – an excellent record, but still not a patch on Salah’s.
There is a stronger argument with regards to Kane and Firmino, with the former almost altering his style and becoming as much of a creator as a goalscorer these days. His assist tally of eight already in the league this season is proof of that.
Firmino’s form has been patchy in 2020, however, so Kane is probably the superior player right now, and has delivered consistently for four or five years.
