QUIZ: How well do you know Liverpool’s England internationals?

After Liverpool’s flawless start to the Premier League season with four wins from four matches, it’s the turn of the first international break.

Last week’s 3-0 win away to Burnley has given the Reds a chance to enjoy the break, though, with a two-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table.

The focus for the majority of Jurgen Klopp’s squad now turns to representing their respective countries, however, as we hope they remain fit over the next fortnight.

With 17 senior players called up to international duty, the break is probably unsuitably named, with long-haul flights and different time zones for a number of individuals.

For example, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino will be part of Brazil’s squad travelling to the United States to take part in friendlies against Colombia and Peru.

Liverpool will have three representatives for England in Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, with the latter recalled to Gareth Southgate’s squad after a determined fightback from a career-threatening knee injury.

Given that some of the Reds’ greatest-ever players have worn the Three Lions on their chest, we have looked back through the archives at some of their outstanding moments.

But how well can you remember Liverpool’s greatest English players?

Test your knowledge in our morning quiz – best of luck, as always…
