This half of the season has been a great sample of what life supporting Liverpool is like. There have been incredible wins against Goliaths of the English leagues, and then capitulations against their respective Davids; not to mention we signed up one of the best managers in world football.
Here we’re going to look at how well our goalkeepers and defenders have fared so far this season. This is not an average from each week’s ratings, but what we believe each deserves based on the bigger picture. Only players with more than just one or two appearances are being rated too, meaning Bogdan gets a rating but Randall doesn’t.
Our unfortunate luck with injuries has made rating some people difficult, so for the fairest ratings, just their time on the pitch is being judged. It’s unfair to hold an injury against a player, because playing bad does not cause an injury – bad luck does.
