Real Madrid are eyeing up a move for Mohamed Salah, according to El Desmarque and swapping the Premier League for La Liga could appeal to the Liverpool star.
They believe the Liverpool superstar might be a cheaper alternative to Kylian Mbappe, with the report stating the latter could cost as much as £250 million.
In comparison, Salah would set them back £126 million, with Madrid president Florentino Perez looking at bringing him in at the end of the season.
I actually believe there is every chance Salah could leave for Barcelona or Madrid one day, such is the lure of playing for one of the two Spanish giants. The same lure that Eden Hazard constantly spoke of while at Chelsea before his move to Spain.
The Egyptian is a hugely driven character who wants to achieve everything in the game and I believe a move to Spain could grow his brand further worldwide, and allow him one final big transfer in his career, as he approaches his late 20s.
That’s not to say he isn’t very happy at Liverpool, however, and I would be surprised if he wasn’t at Anfield next season.
He remains a phenomenal, and also underrated, player for the Reds, topping their scoring charts this season and registering more goals and assists combined in the Premier League than any other player since the start of 2017/18.
