Erling Haaland’s stock is rising all the time, as his stunning start to the season continues.
The Norwegian found the net yet again for Salzburg on Tuesday night, scoring the opener in his side’s 1-1 draw away to Napoli.
It means Haaland has 23 goals to his name in just 17 appearances this season, also becoming the first player ever to score seven goals in the opening four Champions League group stage games.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past, having netted in Salzburg’s 4-3 defeat at Anfield last month.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Haaland father, former Manchester City defender Alfe Inge Haaland, confirmed that his son is eyeing up a move to England in the future:
At one stage he would like to play in the Premier League, when that is going to happen, I don’t know.
Right now, he is ahead of the stage we thought he would be at. He’s done well, and he’s risen to the occasion.

Haaland is clearly a hugely promising young talent, so Liverpool would be wise to consider making a move for him.
He remains inexperienced, however, and he would be brought in as a backup to Roberto Firmino, not as a regular starter.
It may be that he stays put at Salzburg for the time being, but if he keeps maturing as a player, he could be a superb addition in years to come.
