James Maddison could be set to sign a new-and-improved deal at Leicester City, according to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein.
The 23-year-old is enjoying a superb season for the Foxes, inspiring them to second place in the Premier League.
Maddison has been linked with a number of England’s top clubs, with Liverpool one of those supposedly interested in signing him.
The midfielder’s stay at the King Power Stadium could be extended, however, with a new contract potentially being signed.
Maddison’s current deal doesn’t expire until the summer of 2023, outlining how desperate Leicester are to offer him even better terms.

It doesn’t look as though a Leicester exit is on the cards for the time being, but a move further down the line would be exciting.
