Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have been nominated for the CAF African Player of the Year award.
The Liverpool duo have made it onto the 10-man shortlist, which also includes the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech, Riyad Mahrez and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
There is no place for Naby Keita, however, following a frustrating 12 months at Anfield.
Salah and Mane are expected to be among the favourites for the award, following Liverpool’s Champions League triumph last season.
The former has won the prize for the last two years running, with the latter finishing as runner-up on both occasions.

Mane deserves to be named African Player of the Year award this time around, following a magnificent year.
Salah has also been largely excellent, but the Egyptian’s Reds teammate has pipped him overall.
Mane has arguably been his team’s standout player in 2019 and he seems to be getting better all the time.
