Sancho keen to return to England amid Liverpool interest

Liverpool’s offer to Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho is reportedly the “most attractive” one so far for the England international.

According to Eldes Marque, via The Kopite, Sancho is keen to return to England next summer and Liverpool appear to be winning the race as it stands.

Sancho has registered three goals and five assists in the Bundesliga so far this season for Dortmund.

Sancho would be a sensational signing for Liverpool given his age and potential. At just 19, Sancho is already an established star at Dortmund and managed 12 goals and 14 assists in the Bundesliga last season.

Where would he fit in at Liverpool, though? It is unlikely that a player of his calibre would be content with coming in and sitting on the bench at this stage in his career, which could mean that Roberto Firmino’s place in the side comes under pressure. Mo Salah is more than capable of playing through the middle, which would allow Sancho to start out on the right and Sadio Mane to keep his place on the left – with Firmino left as a rotation option for Klopp.

There is no doubting that Firmino is a top player, but if Liverpool are desperate to sign Sancho then they must have some plans to incorporate him into their starting XI and this seems like the most likely outcome if he does arrive at Anfield.
