A number of Liverpool fixtures have been either rescheduled or have had their kick-off times changed, according to a release today by Liverpoolfc.com.
These changes, of which there are seven in total, have come about due to European football commitments and to be able to provide television coverage for the Merseyside club’s matches.
The much-anticipated Merseyside Derby between the Reds and Everton will now take place on Sunday, October 4 at 1:30pm and will be broadcast on Sky Sports.
Liverpool’s away trip to Spurs will remain scheduled for Saturday, October 17, however, the kick-off time will be changed to 12:45pm and the game will be shown on BT Sport.
The Reds’ clash with the Saints of Southampton will now take place on Sunday, October 25 with kickoff at 4:15pm. Sky Sports will show the match.
Brendan Rodgers’ side travel to London for a meeting with Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea on Saturday, October 31 in a match that kicks off at 12:45pm. It will be televised on BT Sport.
Liverpool will kick off against Manchester City at the Etihad on the 21st of November, a Saturday, in a match that begins at 5:30pm on Sky Sports.
Due to the Reds’ participation in the Europa League, two more fixtures have been switched as well.
The Anfield club will come up against Crystal Palace on November 8 at 4pm, a Sunday, and against Swansea City on November 29 at 4:15pm, also a Sunday.
