Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a move for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Mauricio Pochettino is in hot pursuit of West Bromwich Albion attacker Saido Berahino, but his club have had a £22m bid rejected, as per the Guardian.
Tuttomercatoweb claims that the Argentine is considering making a move for Borini if Spurs fail to lure the Baggies forward to North London.
The Liverpool Echo reported earlier this month that the Italian frontman has accepted that he has no future at Anfield.
Spurs are after a strike partner for Harry Kane with Roberto Soldado having departed White Hart Lane and Emmanuel Adebayor linked with West Ham United.

Since joining from AS Roma in 2012, the Italian has only scored three goals in 38 appearances for the Reds.
A return to Italy is still a possibility with Inter Milan keen on his services according to the Daily Star.
