Imagine if Roma somehow decided to sign both Lovren and Smalling and paired them up together for a laugh 😂

Read Liverpool Verdict
Lovren has flirted with a move away from Liverpool all summer, but it finally looks like it will happen.
The 30-year-old has been a divisive figure from the moment he joined the Reds in 2014, with many good performances produced but also too many high-profile errors.
On his day, he is a good centre-back, but he is no longer the required standard for Liverpool, having fallen to fourth-choice in the pecking order.
If the deal doesn’t go through, the Reds certainly won’t be complaining – it would keep squad depth strong – but it’s time to move on and they will be fine without him.
