Ovie Ejaria has been one of Liverpool’s most positive loanees so far this season, as he continues to thrive at Reading.
An impressive all-round performance at home to Cardiff City last weekend earned praise, but his impact on Wednesday night was even greater.
The young midfielder scored a magnificent goal to open the scoring in Reading’s 1-1 draw away to West Brom, smashing the ball into the top corner from distance.
He may also have given away the late penalty that the Baggies equalised from, but it was another hugely promising display.
Needless to say, some Liverpool supporters, and fans of other clubs, took to Twitter once they had got wind of the goal, providing their reactions to it.

Read Liverpool Verdict
It was always important for Ejaria to move away from Liverpool again this summer, having also spent the second half of last season at Reading.
Rather than playing for the Reds’ under-23s and potentially stalling in his career, he looks as though he has found another gear.
Consistency and substance are key for Ejaria – there is no doubting his natural talent – and he can be one of the Championship’s best midfielders if he puts his mind to it.
Given the depth at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal in the middle of the park, a return to Anfield isn’t on the cards in the near future, but there is no ruling out him possibly being a long-term success story on Merseyside.
