READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT
Lovren has been in solid form this season and Klopp clearly feels as though he has rewarded the faith he has shown in him of late. With Joel Matip injured, Joe Gomez is the only other option and he has failed to impress in his appearances in the cup this season, which means that he is not deserving of a place in the side.
Klopp will now be hoping that Lovren can produce a colossal performance to help Liverpool keep out the Premier League’s top scorers and improve their lead at the top of the table.
