Liverpool are set to face competition from Tottenham in their pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
According to reports in Italy, a host of clubs are interested in signing the Welsh midfielder. Juventus and Atletico Madrid have both reportedly expressed an interest.
Ramsey is all-but set to leave Arsenal on a free transfer after contract talks between both parties fell through.
The Gunners could decide to cash in on the player during the January window to avoid losing him for nothing, if not they face the prospect of losing him for free.
Liverpool are believed to be among the early favourites to sign the player, with Ramsey believed to be interested in the idea of playing under Jurgen Klopp.
Moving to Tottenham from Arsenal would certainly be a controversial move that would not sit easily with the club’s supporters.
Emmanuel Adebayor and William Gallas are some of the most recent players to have played for both clubs.
