The Champions League final is not far away with two English teams set to battle it out for the biggest prize in European football.
While Liverpool were at this stage 12 months back and were dealt with a slightly unfortunate defeat at the hands of Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur are the new boys and are making their own fairytale story.
Both teams staged miraculous comebacks in their respective semi-final second legs to reach the final. Hence, ruling any possibility out for this mega encounter would be a mistake.
On paper, Jurgen Klopp’s side look better, especially in terms of the balance, but Pochettino’s Spurs are better than most on their best day. Thus, there are no clear favourites for this game, even though the experience of being there already does help Liverpool a bit.
