During Jurgen Klopp’s time as Liverpool manager, he hasn’t shied away from giving young players there chance.
One of those players that he gave their debut too was 22-year-old Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The German promoted Trent to the first team after some impressive performances in 2016 after his debut against Tottenham Hotspur.
Since then, the right-back has grown to become one of the most talented youngsters in world football winning the Champions League and Premier League.
One Liverpool fan account on Twitter, going by the name Alcânsauce, tweeted a montage video made by himself, highlighting Trent’s rise at the club…
The video really does show how meteoric Trent’s rise has been at the club.
At just 17-years-old the youngster made his debut and since then he has gone on to play 171 games for the club.
During that time, he has managed 10 goals and an incredible 41 assists – an incredible return for a right-back.
There is no telling just how important Trent could become for the club but one thing for sure is that he will be in the squad for a long time.
It wouldn’t surprise me if one day the defender became club captain but only time will tell.
One thing for sure is that him and the rest of the squad will have all eyes towards tomorrow night with the Reds facing Real Madrid.
The second leg of the quarter-final sees Liverpool 3-1 down on aggregate, but a win by at least two goals could see the club progress to the semi-finals of the European competition.
