English youngster Louie Barry is on the verge of completing a move to Aston Villa, according to a report on ESPN.
It was reported in December that the Reds were monitoring the situation of Barry, who turned down the advances of PSG in favour of joining Barcelona from West Brom last summer.

The 16-year-old put in some impressive displays in pre-season but has failed to secure a regular starting position for the club’s Under-19 side.
Despite scoring on his debut for the club, Barry has yet to play a full 90 minutes and according to ESPN Villa are on course to secure his return to English football.

Liverpool’s youngsters showed the success of the club’s academy by beating Everton in the third round of the FA Cup last Sunday. Plenty of teenagers were on display for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the victory at Anfield.
The Reds have also signed 21-year-old Joe Hardy from Brentford, who will join up with the academy squad for the remainder of the season, so bringing in another talent for the academy isn’t really a priority at the moment.
Signing Barry would have made them even stronger but missing out on him isn’t the end of the world as Klopp has players like winger Harvey Elliot at his disposal, who impressed during the Merseyside derby victory.
