Sadio Mane showed his snide side in the seconds after Divock Origi’s famous late winner against Everton on Sunday, in a moment Liverpool fans will treasure.
Jurgen Klopp’s men had to wait until the 96th minute to clinch a dramatic 1-0 victory over their rivals, when it looked like two precious points were being thrown away.
The Reds are often criticised for being too nice as a team, but Mane’s antics straight after the goal dispelled that theory in brilliant fashion.
The Senegalese’s good friend Idrissa Gueye had been wasting time late on, along with his colleagues, as Everton ticked the clock down at Anfield.

Seemingly irked by Gueye’s behaviour, Mane chose not to celebrate with Origi and his teammates when he scored, instead handing the ball to the Blues midfielder.
The relationship between the two is very strong, but they have spoken in the past about ignoring each other in the week leading up to a Merseyside derby.
Mane has earned many bragging rights during their respective spells at Liverpool and Everton to date, with Sunday’s win the latest in that chapter of successes.
The Reds’ No.10 is an injury doubt for Wednesday’s trip to Burnley with a foot problem.
