West Ham are threatening lifetime bans to the fans who attacked Liverpool’s team coach last week, according to the Evening Standard.
A window was reportedly smashed after the Reds won 2-0 at the London Stadium on January 29th, with police reporting that some supporters hurled objects at the coach.
The Hammers have released a statement regarding the issue, condemning the behaviour of those culpable:
We condemn unreservedly the behaviour of the individuals at our match with Liverpool.
That kind of behaviour has no place at West Ham and anyone found guilty of an offence will be banned for life.

West Ham need to take the most severe action possible, in my opinion, ensuring lifetime bans are handed out.
There is simply no excuse for this sort of behaviour, with football supposed to be a game supporters enjoy, and not one where players find themselves in potential danger.
There is no room for such thuggery and hopefully the realisation of never being able to watch your team live again will come as a reality check.
I feel that all clubs must be as ruthless as each other in terms of the punishments dished out, ensuring the issue is eradicated for good.
