Liverpool battered and dismantled Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City, winning 0-4 at the King Power Stadium.
In the first half, the Reds looked like the team that would break the deadlock, and they did just that after squandering a few really good chances.
Trent Alexander-Arnold whipped in an absolute peach of a ball, and Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool the lead with a well-directed header.
In the second half, the current World Champions nullified Leicester’s attack and made it comfortable for themselves. Jurgen Klopp’s men got a penalty and made it 0-2, thanks to the Mr Reliable James Milner. Firmino once again got in the act by making it 0-3 and the ‘Scouser in the Team’ Alexander-Arnold made it 0-4 to give Liverpool three well-deserved points.

That was the best performance all season by the mentality monsters so I do not know where to start with the praise!
Due to the long travel to and from Qatar, I was expecting Liverpool to be sluggish and fatigued. However, it was the absolute opposite. Leicester got ripped to pieces and Liverpool showed why they are the best football team on the planet.
I’ve said it once, and I will happily say it again. Alexander-Arnold is a generational talent, and his display tonight was phenomenal.
The Reds sit 13 points clear above second place with a game in hand. Their eyes are now towards Wolves.
