Who was Liverpool’s best player against Dortmund?

Liverpool put in a terrific display against Borussia Dortmund on Thursday night to give themselves a very decent shot at progression into the last four of the Europa League.

Divock Origi’s first half strike means that the Reds have the all-important away goal, and their defensive resolve prevented the Bundesliga side from taking an advantage back to Anfield.

But who was Liverpool’s best player on the night? We have created this Duel feature so that you can have your say.

In each duel, simply vote for the player you think had the better game, and in winner-stays-on style, you will be left with a last man standing.

Joe Allen is the only substitute we have included because he, unlike Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge, had significant playing time at the Westfalenstadion.

LFC and all-round sports fan.
