Liverpool haven’t ruled out the possibility of selling Gini Wijnaldum at the end of the season, according to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein.
The Dutchman has become an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans since arriving from Newcastle United in 2016.
His understated presence in midfield has allowed others around him to shine in an attacking sense and he has scored some huge goals along the way.
This latest report claims that there is interest in Wijnaldum from clubs in Italy and Spain.
He could leave as a free agent in the summer of 2021, when his current deal expires, but the potential of an exit at the end of the current campaign is possible.

It would be a huge surprise if Wijnaldum departed this summer, even though it will be one of the last chances for Liverpool to earn a fee for him.
At 29, though, he isn’t getting any younger and Klopp has always been a manager who promotes youth.
It feels more likely that Wijnaldum will see out his contract, possibly even being offered an extension eventually.
