Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete admits he would love to play for Liverpool, Manchester United or Barcelona one day.
The 20-year-old is making a name for himself in the Ukraine, making nine league appearances so far this season.
Although Shakhtar is a good place for Tete to learn his trade currently, the Brazilian is thinking bigger further down the line.
Speaking to DAZN [via Sport Witness], the youngster revealed the three clubs for whom he dreams of playing eventually, with Liverpool one of them:
I always want to make bigger leaps. It’s normal to dream from a young age to play for big teams and with me it’s no different.
I always dream of playing for Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona, as I mentioned. But the special affection I have is for Barcelona. It’s a team that I’ve always followed since I was little, since I was a child.
I used to get Barcelona shirts, Messi shirts. So that passion grew every day and the affection I really have is for Barcelona.

In years gone by, the Reds arguably wouldn’t have appealed as much as United or Barca, but it is testament to the job Jurgen Klopp has done that Tete wants to play for them so much.
That’s not to say Liverpool haven’t always been a huge club, but Klopp has turned them into serial winners, as well as a team who play a fantastic brand of attacking football.
The Reds are well-stocked in wide areas for the time being, but Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane won’t be around forever, highlighting the need to look at long-term reinforcements.
At 20, Tete fits into that category, and it will be interesting to see how his game evolves in the coming years.
