Sky Sports have reported that Liverpool will now have to fend off Chelsea and Manchester City to secure the 23-year-old’s services.
Oxlade-Chamberlain displayed towards the end of the recent campaign why he can be a very useful player, adapting to the right wing-back role in Arsenal’s 3-4-2-1 formation.

Talks on an improved deal at the Emirates have reportedly stalled for the Englishman, and he could well look at Champions League football as a motive for a move elsewhere. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has previously said he wishes to extend the midfielder’s contract, but it now looks increasingly likely that Oxlade-Chamberlain will be at a new club come September.
The player is said to have grown frustrated in North-London, and will explore hi options when he returns from holiday later this month.
