Striker Danny Ings is hopeful that his injury woes are in the past and that he can finally kick-start his Liverpool career.
The Daily Mail reports that Ings, now 24, has had individual sessions this summer at Liverpool’s training complex Melwood and that he should be fighting fit and ready to challenge for a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s new formed Liverpool side.
Since joining from fellow Premier League side Burnley in 2015 for around £7m, Ings has since missed almost two years of football due to horrific knee injury problems he’s occurred.
It seemed like a good signing, with Ings having scored 11 goals for Burnley in that year. However last season as an example, the striker could only manage two games before the knee injury came back once again.

The Englishman is praying for patience from manager Jurgen Klopp as any Liverpool fan will know that Ings would be a great asset to the side of his day.
When speaking to Liverpoolfc.com he told them:
“I didn’t play as much as I wanted to but going there, training every day, I felt fit. I’m coming back here after a full year of training on my knee.”
“For me it’s about getting as healthy and as strong as I can, and to be with the lads as soon as possible.”
