Ex-Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has slammed Arsenal today over their treatment of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in tremendous form since joining the Merseyside club from Arsenal, scoring in the recent Champions League win over Manchester City.
Murphy has suggested the fitness regiment at Arsenal failed to bring the best out of the England midfielder.
Murphy said, via The Mirror:
I’ve always been a fan of Ox, look how fit he looks now compared to when he was with Arsenal.

Chamberlain has proved a lot of critics wrong with his superb performances in the middle of the park this season, notching five goals in all competitions, also providing five assists.
Danny Murphy also claimed that the midfielder’s conditioning levels have been majorly improved since the switch.
He said.
They talked about when he went to Liverpool he couldn’t play for a while, they had to give him another pre-season. That tells you something about Arsenal.
Chamberlain’s wish of playing central midfield was granted by Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp, and now their trust in the player has paid off.
