Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke is to be called up to the senior England side for the Three Lions’ game against Brazil next week.
This comes according to the Guardian, who claim that England boss Gareth Southgate wants to promote from the under-21 side to ease his injury crisis ahead of games against Germany and Brazil during the current international break.

Seven of his selection for the two matches have pulled out with injury, including the likes of Dele Alli, Raheem Sterling and Harry Winks — so the Three Lions boss is looking to experiment with his squad now.
Solanke, along with Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, will be join up with the senior England squad after playing for the under-21s on Friday, and could certainly be in line for their full international debuts as Southgate looks to give chances to players who could well be the future of the national side.
Southgate said:
If we don’t try things now, when will we?
It’s not just about Russia [next summer’s World Cup], it’s beyond that. Germany took a young team to the Confederations Cup. They are brave enough to take decisions which might get them results or might not. They are constantly evolving and that’s what we have to do.
Solanke, 20, joined Liverpool from Chelsea in the summer, having spent 2015-16 on loan at Dutch outfit Vitesse, where he scored seven times in 26 appearances.
