Can is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield and has been continuously linked with a move to Juventus over the summer.
Can is believed to be holding out for a new deal which would see him earn over £100,000 a week, however, Liverpool are unwilling to pay the German such a high amount.
Earlier this year Can spoke about his ongoing contract negotiations with Liverpool:
I read in newspapers it was about money but it isn’t about money. We’ve had a few good meetings and everything is fine. I am happy at Liverpool.
Reports over the weekend suggested that if Juve were to cash in on Dybala then they could make a bid for Can, having already lost Dani Alves to Paris Saint-Germain and with Alex Sandro constantly being linked with a move to Premier League champions Chelsea.
