Liverpool youngster Jack Dunn has joined League Two side Morecambe on loan.
The 21-year-old, who can play in midfield or attack, will stay at the Globe Arena till January in what will be his third loan spell away from Merseyside.
Dunn scored against his new club in a pre-season friendly this weekend, which a young Liverpool XI, led by Michael Beale, won 2-1.
Morecambe boss Jim Bentley told the club’s official website, “Jack is someone who has always impressed me and I am delighted that he has come to us.
“He is an excellent player and a great finisher and he will be a real boost to the squad and I am sure he will excite the fans.”
Last year, Dunn made just six appearances for the Reds U21 side in an injury-hit season.
The previous year, he scored three goals in five matches for Cheltenham Town, before a brief spell at Burton Albion during which he played just once.
Dunn has also been capped at various youth levels for England, earning nine caps in total.
