According to the Express, Jurgen Klopp asks the Liverpool chief to sign Rafinha from Barcelona and a £36m bid is ready.
Rafinha is being targetted by many, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter and AC Milan and Liverpool are prepared to pay a sizeable fee for the Brazilian.
With Neymar’s future at Barcelona being in doubt, they are targeting Phillipe Coutinho from Liverpool, meaning Liverpool are looking for a replacement and the Barcelona man could be the man.
Liverpool are also looking more likely to miss out on Naby Keita from RB Leipzig so Rafinha could be another answer to their problems.

Rafinha was a very prominent player in the Catalans’ season last campaign but his season ended early after an injury which he suffered in April.
The 24-year-old, who is the brother of Thiago at Bayern Munich, has come through Barcelona’s youth ranks and has already had a great career, making 195 appearances in all competitions, scoring 34 and assisting 23 which is a very good record for a central midfielder.
He has won four Spanish Cup’s, two La Liga’s, two Spanish Super Cup’s and one Champions League. He also won Gold in 2016 Olympics hosted in his home country of Brazil.
