According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that his club does not need to sell Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Coutinho’s future at Anfield has always been a talking point since his impressive season for Liverpool in 2013/14, where the club got very close to winning the Premier League.
Now, his future has been cast into doubt with Neymar leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain. The Spanish giants are looking for a replacements and Neymar’s fellow countryman has emerged as a target for the Catalan outfit.

Despite reports that claim Barcelona are close to signing Coutinho, Klopp has revealed the Reds have no intention of selling this summer.
The fact another teams comes by with an offer doesn’t mean we have to think about selling a player. We’re not talking about how much they’re ready to spend, we don’t need to sell. The priority is to keep the best players with us. We must think about how we can and how we could replace him if there were to be a sale.
With Adam Lallana due to miss the start of the season through injury, Klopp will be desperate to keep hold of the talented Brazilian.
