According to Calciomercato, Juventus have cooled down their interest in PSG’s Blaise Matuidi as they head back in to try and sign Emre Can from Liverpool.
Juve have stopped their interest in Matuidi, 30, right now as they are looking for younger midfielders to bolster their squad.
With Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira being both in their thirties, the Juventus hierarchy want a younger midfielder, which is where 23-year-old Emre Can comes in.

Can is going into his last year of his current contract at Anfield which has made Juventus reignite their interest in the German as they were reportedly close to signing him earlier this month.
The Old Lady are also after Steven N’Zonzi, 28, from Sevilla, who scored an amazing goal in the Emirates Cup yesterday but the defensive midfielder could not speak about his future after the 2-1 win against Arsenal yesterday.
Can has scored eight times, including that Goal of the Season contender last season with an overhead kick vs Watford, and assisted seven in his 129 appearances at Liverpool, since joining for £10m from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014.
