Liverpool have snubbed the opportunity to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
The Colombian international who scored 11 goals last season is reportedly seen as a rotation option for the Spanish champions and as per Sport, the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain also said no to the €75m (£66m) asking price.
The below video looks at whether the Reds should have snapped up the 25-year-old, and also considers Jurgen Klopp’s side’s chances of signing Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita at this stage.

Last season’s fourth-placed side in the Premier League have already improved their squad this summer by bringing in Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah from Roma for a club record fee.
With that in mind, the Reds seemingly will not be spending more money on attacking players. It was their problems at the back which prevented them from mounting a serious title challenge last term, not any issues in front of goal.
The centre-back position is one they will look to address and the Mirror claim that van Dijk, their prime target, has told Southampton he only wants to join the Merseyside club.
