Liverpool are confident they will be able to sell outcast Mamadou Sakho for £30million amid mounting interest in the defender, according to the Echo.
Sakho moved to Anfield for £18million in 2013 and established himself as a first-team regular before a fallout with the club over disciplinary issues.
The Frenchman joined Crystal Palace on loan in January and was integral to their survival bid, even as a knee injury cut his season short.
Sakho is currently undergoing rehabilitation at Melwood and training away from the rest of the squad.
The Echo reports that the club have received “a flood of enquiries” regarding the 27-year old, with Palace currently the front-runners.

It is understood that personal terms have already been agreed but the London club are reluctant to meet Liverpool’s asking price.
“I think that is going to be a very difficult one for us to do,” chairman Steve Parish said last month. “I think Liverpool want a big number for him.
“That is a tough one to make happen on a permanent basis. We need to look at the budgets and be realistic.”
Nonetheless, given that Sakho still has three years left on his current deal, the Reds maintain that £30million is a fair price.
Klopp is in the market for a new centre-back, and the money from Sakho’s potential departure could fund swoops for reported targets Stefan de Vrij and Jonathan Tah.
