According to the Mirror, Liverpool forward and Newcastle target Sheyi Ojo is on the verge of signing for Middlesbrough on loan.
Ojo has been on both Boro and Newcastle’s radar this summer but a season long loan to The Riverside looks very likely for the 20-year-old.
Liverpool are keen on loaning out the winger for the 2017/18 season so he can get more game time to make him into the player he is predicted to be.
Ojo only featured twice in The FA Cup for Liverpool last season but if they didn’t get knocked out by Wolves early on then Ojo probably would’ve played more games.

Newcastle have struggled to reach a deal with The Reds so far which has led for Middlesbrough to come in and snatch Ojo from under Newcastle’s nose.
If a move to Boro surfaces then it will be Ojo’s third loan away from Anfield, it would be a massive boost to Garry Monk’s squad as they work to get back to the Premier League at the first time of trying after their relegation in the 2016/17 season.
Ojo will join Jonny Howson and Cyrus Christie who have both sealed a move to Middlesbrough this summer from Norwich and Derby respectively.
