Contrary to the rumours which circulated earlier today, Andrew Robertson IS with the Liverpool squad at the Etihad and he will be available for selection for this evening’s huge game against Manchester City.
Robertson’s partner is due to give birth any day now and there were rumours on social media which claimed that she’d gone into labour and as such, the Scottish international would be at her side and not at the Etihad.
However, there is no truth to those stories and the left-back is expected to start for the Reds in tonight’s huge game.
Liverpool know that a win over Man City could extend the gap between themselves and the reigning champions to ten points, whilst a loss could see Pep Guardiola’s men move to within four points of the league leaders.
Robertson is a key member of the Reds’ team and fans will be delighted to know that the rumour was nothing more than a tall tale!
