Liverpool renew their rivalry with Chelsea on Saturday in a fixture that should the Reds win, it would potentially spell the end for Jose Mourinho as far as him being the Blues’ boss is concerned.
The Anfield club haven’t beaten the Londoners since the 2011-12 campaign when they did the double over the Blues in the Premier League and also knocked them out of the League Cup at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea did win the FA Cup at the expense of the Reds that season, though.
The last time the two sides met, Steven Gerrard cancelled out John Terry’s goal to ensure that Liverpool left with a point.
Stevie is no longer a Red, but there are still plenty of Liverpool players that make it into my combined XI.
Take a look (keep in mind this is all just a bit of fun!).
