Jurgen Klopp earned his first win as Liverpool manager on Wednesday night, as a Nathaniel Clyne strike in the first half earned the Reds a 1-0 win over Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup.
Clyne, playing in an unfamiliar left-back position, was the first to react when Joao Teixeira’s delicious flick was well cleared off the line.
Klopp’s men now advance to the quarter-finals, and with several big sides out of the tournament, perhaps have a real chance of picking up some silverware.
