It’s Carabao Cup action for Liverpool this week as we face the trip to the King Power Stadium to play Leicester City.
Leicester are a decent side and even with Jamie Vardy looking like he’ll miss out, they still have many dangerous offensive players with the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Kelechi Iheanacho, Shinji Okazaki, Islam Slimani and Demarai Gray all capable of causing problems.
Over the last few seasons, they were quite solid in the midfield area but now that both N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater have departed, that area is a weak spot that I think we can exploit.
As for the Reds, Jurgen Klopp is likely to make a few changes as he tries to balance his squad for the upcoming Premier League and Champions League games.
The manager has already announced that Danny Ward, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Marko Grujic are going to start the game and I think Dominic Solanke will get the nod too.

It will be interesting to see whether Philippe Coutinho starts again as he needs game time to improve his match sharpness whilst Jordan Henderson might also return to the starting line-up after being rested at the weekend against Burnley.
I’m anticipating a few goals in this game, with both sides having good attacking options.
We need to bounce back after a few disappointing results, so I’m expecting a Liverpool win.
Prediction:
Leicester 2-3 Liverpool (Slimani, Okazaki / Solanke, Sturridge, Oxlade-Chamberlain)
