Who could Liverpool face in the Champions League Last 16?

Liverpool’s excellent 7-0 victory over Spartak Moscow was endured that they finished top of Group E.

That means that on Monday, the Reds will know they can be drawn against any team who finished second in their respective groups, with the exceptions of Sevilla and Chelsea.

Here’s a look at the teams that Jurgen Klopp’s men could be facing in February and March next year.

Finished second behind Manchester United in their group. The Swiss side knocked Liverpool out of the Champions League back in 2013 and again in 2014.

Bayern Munich

The German champions finished second in their group, behind the dominant PSG.

Juventus

Another superpower of European football. Last year’s runners up finished second behind Barcelona in their group.

Shakhtar Donetsk

Paulo Fonseca’s men finished second behind Manchester City. Liverpool have never faced them in the past.

Porto

 Porto finished second behind Besiktas in Group G, ahead of Monaco and RB Leipzig.

Real Madrid

Tottenham won a very competitive Group H, meaning Madrid finished as runners-up.
